Kathmandu. The use of ‘sunroof vehicles will not be allowed in election campaigning. A joint meeting of the Central Security Committee, Central Command Post and District Security Committee held at the Ministry of Home Affairs took the decision to this effect.
A security official who attended the meeting said that the decision was taken keeping in mind the security sensitivities of the candidates.
With this, candidates will no longer be allowed to use with a sunroof while campaigning. Earlier, candidates were allowed to use sunroof vehicles, but now they will not be able to use sunroof vehicles.
Rastriya SwatantraParty (RPP) President Rabi Lamichhane and senior leader BalendraShah had been using such vehicles during the election campaign.However, due to security risks, the use of sunroof vehicles has been prohibited in the election campaign.
