Shekhar Golchha remanded in custody for 4 days

Kathmandu. The court has remanded Golchha to 4 days for investigation into the case. The Kathmandu District Court has remanded Golchha to 4 days for further investigation.

Police arrested Golchha, who is also the former president of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), on Thursday.

He was arrested as per the preliminary inquiry report of the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) for investigation and action against the offense as per Sections 94, 95 and 96 and Clause 98 of the Securities Act, 2063, said police.

He has been accused of ‘insider trading’ in collusion with controversial businessman Deepak Bhatta.
