Kathmandu. The government has clarified that it is not possible to reduce the price of petroleum products. Secretary at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies Krishna Bahadur Raut clarified that there is no situation to reduce the price of petroleum products and other petroleum products as the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has to sell petroleum products as per the price fixed by the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC).
Speaking at a meeting of the Committee on Industry, Commerce and Labour and Consumer Welfare under the House of Representatives on Tuesday, he said that the government was compelled to increase the price of the goods and .
Consumers are pressuring the government to control the price rise. However, Secretary Raut has claimed that the government is still trading in the prices of cooking gas, petrol , and other goods at a loss.
Raut also said that the government will sell petrol,including petrol, while the government will sell petrol, which will cost more than the current price.He also said that the government did not sell the goods according to the automatic price so that and do not fall into the trap of consumers.
Similarly, the government has clarified that the government has not taken bonus to the employees of Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC).Secretary Raut said that the employees of the corporation are not in a position to take the bonus as the corporation is not in profit.
