Dang. Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City has distributed improved stoves to 500 people. The sub-metropolis distributed 500 iron stoves at the rate of 26 each in 19 wards.

Tek Bahadur Khadka, chief contact person of the sub-metropolis, said that the stoves were distributed with the participation of Alternative Energy Promotion Centre, Green Climate Fund, Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City and consumers.

The sub-metropolis will bear 15 per cent of the stove, five per cent will be borne by the consumers and the remaining will be borne by the Alternative Energy Promotion Centre and Green Climate Fund.

According to the sub-metropolis, the stove is distributed as per the wishes of the people as the stove burns with the help of electricity, which saves wood and cow dung cakes.
