Kathmandu. Nepal’s first tiles Ceramic Company Ceramic CompanyNepovit Ceramic Company has started production of wall tiles (wall) tiles. The company has started the production of wall tiles for the first time in Nepal. 

The production of wall tiles has been started from the factory constructed in the Special EconomicZone, Simara, , said Jha, chairman of Nepal Ceramic Pvt. Ltd. {{} Shambhunath of Bara. Nepovit Ceramics is a company established with the investment of Nepal Ceramics Industry. 

With the commencement of the production of wall tiles by Nepovit ceramics, the company aims to meet the needs of Nepali consumers in the first phase and in the second phase, it will export tiles to foreign countries and take the domestic products to the foreign market.

According to the company, indigenous raw materials will be used in the production of tiles. With the start of the production of wall tiles in Nepal, it is expected that the foreign dependence in the tile sector will be reduced and will contribute to the foreign exchange reserves. Likewise, the company believes that reaching Nepali products in the foreign market will help in the economic development of the country by generating employment by earning foreign currency. 

Nepal Ceramics Industry has been manufacturing floor tiles in Nepal for the past seven years. Thefloor tiles produced by Nepal Ceramics are exported to the Nepali market as well as to foreign markets.
