Kathmandu. Doctors and employees have been found to be negligent in civil hospital. It has been found that the hospital staff and doctors have been negligent by playing with the health of the patients.
Although the government led by Prime Minister Balendra Shah (Balen) has promised to make the service efficient and efficient, the service seekers have complained that the service is very poor at the hospital.
According to the service recipients, first of all, the hospital has failed to manage the crowd. Hundreds of service seekers arrive daily but they are compelled to stand in queue for hours to buy tickets, according to the service recipients.
“When I took the patient to the hospital, I was asked to buy a ticket at the beginning. If you go to buy a ticket, you have to stand in line for hours. A recipient who reached the hospital said, “When will it be your turn? When to buy tickets? When to treat a patient? It’s very frustrating. ’
On the other hand, the service recipients have complained that they have to face another hassle to get medicines due to the lack of people in the pharmacy even though the treatment of the patients has started by purchasing the ticket.
“After a long period of trouble to get a ticket, the treatment of the patient starts, but again the pharmacy has to face a bigger hassle. Talking to Artha Sarokar, the customer said, “There are no people in the pharmacy. Finally, they come. They say it’s too late to take the medicine. ’
What is even more alarming is that the Civil Hospital does not provide medicines to the patients on time. According to a service recipient, the nurses and doctors of the hospital do not provide medicines on time to the patients in the emergency ward of the hospital. “The medicine that should be given at 6 am is given at 8 am. They don’t give the medicine at 11 p. m. until 1 p. m. “This kind of negligence has put the patient’s life at risk,” he said. ’
It was only a few days ago that the hospital staff was arrested in connection with the purchase of medicines. Immediately after this, the government expressed concern over the service of the civil hospital and directed to improve the quality of the hospital and maintain its service. However, the fact that the hospital’s services are the same has raised questions about the intention of the civil hospital administration to defy the government’s directives.
