Kathmandu. Construction of a school building has begun at Shivasatakshi municipality in Jhapa district with the financial assistance of the Indian government. Jhapa, July 14: A foundation stone has been jointly laid for the construction of a new building of Shree Jan Adarsha Secondary School located in Shivasatakshi municipality-6 of Koshi Province.
Member of the Koshi Provincial Assembly Radha Krishna Khanal, Mayor of Shivasatakshi Municipality Megahang Thopra and Second Secretary at the Embassy of India in Kathmandu Garima Nautiyal jointly laid the foundation stone for the building.
The school building is being constructed with the financial assistance of around Rs 3 crore from the Government of India. Shivasatakshi municipality of Jhapa is said to be implementing this building under the High Impact Community Development Project.
The mayor of Shivasatakshi Municipality and other stakeholders have appreciated the development assistance being provided by the Government of India after the construction of the new building. They believe that this new infrastructure will greatly help in strengthening the learning environment for the students and teachers of Shivasatakshi Municipality.
