Kathmandu. The campus constructed in the far-western state with the financial assistance of the Government of India has been inaugurated. Badikedar Rural Municipality Chairman Bhairab Bahadur Saud jointly inaugurated the Kedar Jyotipunj Multiple Campus (renamed as Kedar Surya Multiple Campus) at Badikedar Rural Municipality of Doti district on Sunday.
The two-storey campus building with 7 rooms on each floor and other associated facilities has been constructed as a High Impact Community Development Project.
The campus is affiliated to Tribhuvan University. The campus offers Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) and Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) programs.
The Chairman of Badikedar Rural Municipality, the campus management and other stakeholders appreciated the development support being provided by the Government of India. He expressed confidence that the new infrastructure will help strengthen the educational infrastructure of the region.
Since the inception of the High Impact Community Development Project (HSDP), the Government of India has implemented nearly 600 projects across various sectors in Nepal. Among them, 47 projects including four in Doti district are in the Sudurpaschim Province. In addition to this, the Government of India has gifted 78 ambulances and 40 school buses to various organizations working in the health and education sector of the Sudurpaschim Province along with 9 ambulances and 3 school buses in Doti district.
