Kathmandu. Chair of the Industry, Commerce, Labour and Consumer Welfare Committee, Rahbar Ansari urged the authorities concerned to take maximum action against those involved in black marketing of petroleum products, including scrapping the license of petrol pumps, tankers supplying petrol and gas dealers.
At a programme organised by the committee at Singha Durbar on Wednesday, Ansari urged the government to book anyone involved in black marketeering.
Ansari also directed the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies and its subordinate bodies to prepare the bill related to petroleum products and black marketeering. He said reforms were being carried out after inviting the concerned bodies in the committee and holding discussions.
He also directed the authorities concerned to control the tendency of adulterating chemicals in palm oil in hotels and restaurants.
