Kathmandu. The country is in the grip of the floods in Bhat ekoshima. Hundreds of people have lost their lives and hundreds are still missing. Dozens of settlements have been swept away by the floods. Communication facilities have been disrupted. All services including electricity and transport have been disrupted. But at the same time, the airlines are busy in cheating.

Vehicular movement via Kathmandu, Dhading, Nuwakot, Rasuwa, Pokhara and Chitwan has been halted due to floods.

After the major damage to the road network, passengers have started using the airway. However, when it is necessary to reduce the fare in such a disaster and work for the convenience of the citizens, the airlines have increased the fare compared to other times.

Generally Kathmandu-Dhangadhi airfare is 7,500. However, the air fare has now increased the fare from 16,700 to 18,000.

At other times, the fare for Kathmandu-Bhairahawa is 5,500 but the airlines are charging 6,500 to 10,000 now. Not only this, but the airlines have increased the airfare for every destination leaving Kathmandu by almost double.
