Kathmandu. India is going to rebuild the Tribhuvan Trishuli Secondary School, which was destroyed by the floods in Bhotekoshi. Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava has promised to reconstruct the school in Bidur, Nuwakot.

Rajendra Dawadi, the principal of the school, informed that Naveen Srivastava had promised to rebuild the school building damaged by the floods.

The school was built in the 1950s with Indian assistance when the Trishuli Hydroelectric Project was built. The new school building was also constructed in 2022 with the help of India’s HIDP program.

However, on August 10, the school was completely washed away by the flash flood in Bhotekoshi. Although the school was completely swept away, there was no major loss of life when the principal took the students to a safe place on time.
