Kathmandu. The Finance Concern has found evidence of the court’s permission to arrest Prabhu Bank’s CEO Suman Sharma. The bank’s information officer Rabindra Dhakal lied saying that the bank did not know anything about the matter, but the court had already ordered to issue an arrest warrant against Sharma on September 2 and accordingly an arrest warrant was issued.

In the arrest warrant received from a confidential source, permission has been given to arrest 3 other persons including the CEO of Prabhu Bank.

A criminal case was registered against Sharma, a banker, including Sharma, for allegedly approving the loan but not giving the loan to the borrower but auctioning the property. After the complaint of Anjali International, Sharma did not go to the police to give a statement even after the investigation was completed and the process of registering the case was over. The case was prosecuted as ‘absent’ after the police did not go for a statement. Later, the court issued permission in the name of the police to arrest him.

The charge sheet filed at the Parsa District Court has also sought action against the then deputy manager of Sunrise Kedar Singh, senior officer Subodh Joshi and deputy manager Rabindra KC on charges of cheating and breach of trust. According to the chargesheet, the then Sunrise Bank had approved a loan of Rs 3.89 crore but did not get the loan even after auctioning the collateral.

Excuse of force leave, plan to appear before the court on Monday after hiding for 4 days!

Suman Sharma had left Kathmandu after an arrest warrant was issued against him. Sharma has reached Parsa with some close friends after writing an email to the HR department about the force leave at Prabhu Bank. According to sources close to Sharma, he will hide in Parsa for 4 days and will appear in court on Monday. There are also people who claim that the police have made arrangements to appear before the court without arresting him. Sources claim that he reached Parsa with his lawyer after arranging for a good place to stay in Parsa and would appear in court and be released on bail. His phone is also switched off.

Prabhu Bank’s Ready-Made Reply to Every Question- ‘No, I Don’t Know’

On the other hand, the bank seems to be trying to hide this case as much as possible. The information officer of the bank, Rabindra Dhakal, has been making the call of the information officer since he came to know that an arrest warrant has been issued against the bank’s CEO Suman Sharma. According to his close associate, Dhakal himself has also made arrangements for the CEO to hide. When he called his old phone number, he claimed that he did not know anything about the matter. Dhakal claimed that the case had already been registered on September 15, on the basis of the same case, the court had given permission for arrest again on September 18 and the CEO had been suspended as per the Employees Bylaws. He lied that the bank had no information about the arrest warrant issued against the CEO. On September 19, most of the high-level employees of the bank knew that the court had given permission for arrest. Sharma, who had been waiting for a few days, had finally left for Parsa after getting the news that the police would come to arrest him if he did not show up.
